Animal Life, a local animal publication is putting together a story on “happy ending” pet adoptions and rescues.I know many of our clients have rescue pets and thought you might like to share your stories.Here is the email we received from Lisa at Animal Life:
The next issue is a happy one, stories of homeless or shelter pets that have found homes. We are looking for short stories and photos you may have of animals who have had "happy endings". Maybe a couple of paragraphs describing the plight of the animal and subsequent home. Photos are most welcome but please send captions.
The photos need not be just of the animals, after all it's compassionate humans that rescue them so feel free to send along group shots.
Hopefully we can gather a lot of inspirational tales to share with our readers.
If you have something to submit, we would need it by the end of next week (5/7/2010). Don't be self conscious about writing style, we have our talented editor Cecilia to fix any mistakes. She even manages to make me look good!
